Aisling Hickey defeated doubles partner Toni Neary with 11-1, 6-11, 11-8, 14-12 to win the Women’s Open Singles yesterday afternoon at the Fermoy Open in Ireland. Joe Kelley, all the way from the USA, a long journey to Fermoy made worthwhile when he defeated Johnny O’Keeney in the Men’s Open Singles with 8-11, 11-4, 11-5, 11-6.
